The Comly chefs were excited for our first meal together!

Sofya and Jaxon expertly chopped and sliced to prep the grilled cheese sandwiches. Camila and Siddalee practiced different cutting techniques while prepping veggies for our crudite (aka “the veggie tray” according to our junior cooks). Our cooks tasted every part of the meal and called it a success! Siddalee noted, “I’ve never had tomato on a grilled cheese, but it’s like a pop of flavor!” Sofya was amazed that the ranch dressing dip was so flavorful–“There’s yogurt in that?!” This week was a colorful, healthy, and easy to prepare meal! The students looked ahead and can’t wait to make the Cornflake Chicken next week!
