Proud parents and family members joined us for our Guest Dinner. The menu included sloppy joe sliders, salad with lemon vinaigrette, and strawberry crisp bars.
It took much preparation and cooperation, but we made it happen. Students creatively set and decorated the table with an inviting spring theme then welcomed our guests. During dinner, family members commented on how our student chefs have started to cook more at home. Dylan Barker’s mom, Nikkia, said Dylan has modified the granola recipe from Week 1 and has made granola bars at home for them several times. We ended the dinner with a ceremony awarding students with certificates and chef hats to close another successful program.
