The students are really enjoying the class. They loved making the sloppy joes, especially cooking the meat and making the pickled cucumbers.

Most of them liked the sloppy joes but took exception to the warm celery. Although while the majority did not like the cucumbers, they all tasted some.

We continue to emphasize good kitchen safety rules, especially knife handling and cleanliness.

“Today I had Sloppy Joes. I liked how it was new and unique,” said John Clark.
