Between illness and a trip, we were left shorthanded this week. We knew that meant more work for everyone, but it also meant more soup! Students decided to work together on the mise-en-place, then split up to handle the two recipes. The simmering soup’s aroma brought many visitors to our door. It was the chips and guacamole, however, that excited the students more. It was thumbs-up all around as we left with empty bowls and full tummies.
