The student chefs worked as a real team to prepare buttermilk roast chicken and sweet potato fries.

Chopping, spicing, and marinating were just some of the techniques the volunteers were able to introduce this week, as well as the safe handling of raw chicken. The young chefs worked as a real team to get all the ingredients for both recipes prepped and in the oven on time. Next week: tortilla soup, chips and guacamole!
