We started with a survey to see had already tasted some of the ratatouille ingredients. Eggplant and goat cheese were new for almost everyone. Slicing, dicing, and chopping expertise was on full display as the vegetables were prepared and the recipe carefully followed. But, as we know, the students have had their eyes on the strawberry shortcake since Week 1. While the veggies and quinoa were met with mixed reviews, the dessert was a complete success. “It was fabulous,” exclaimed Darius Smith. “And we get to make it again!”
