This quick-moving group of chefs had their aprons on, supplies set up and were reviewing the recipe on the SmartBoard with the first ten minutes.
Everyone had a turn dicing, slicing, and cooking to help prepare the meal. While all said they liked the turkey sloppy Joes, many had ideas to make them more to their taste. “These could use some more ketchup,” suggested Yusuf Williams-Bey. “More spice,” added Dylan Barker. The quick pickles were the big surprise, with even non-cucumber people enjoying them on their sandwiches.
