This week, our students took turns cutting chicken wings and veggies, measuring ingredients, and juicing lemons, saying “I love that everybody has a job, I felt like I was a chef.”

When we sat down to eat, there were some mixed reviews on the chicken wing recipe, and some felt like the marinade “needed more honey for sure.”

The Caesar salad with homemade croutons was very popular, and we ate it all without leftovers.
Some quotes from around the “dinner” table: “I like it because it’s homemade and tastes good” and “it feels like we’re at a restaurant”. The young ladies in our class were very focused on showing us how to make fried chicken one day.
