We had a great first week! The students arrived excited and ready to learn.

After reviewing the kitchen and safety rules, the students mixed the granola ingredients and chopped the fruit. To accommodate some dietary restrictions, we used Silk yogurt instead of Greek. Probably wouldn’t do this again as the consistency and taste were very different.

They really took the knife handling tips to heart. “I learned a new skill about knives is that when you are not looking your hands are off the knife.” Tamara Hudson
