Students from previous classes were asking us teachers and current cooking class students what we were having on our menu. The previous student chefs reflected on so many of the dishes we made together that they deemed delicious. It was a delight to hear.

This year, there was a debate over the salmon and the tortilla soup. So, we settled on both. As a dessert, we chose a healthy parfait with vanilla yogurt, honey, granola, and fresh fruit.

Our party wasn’t as large as usual, but it was enjoyable. The students and family members appeared to have enjoyed themselves.
