Our first class was a smashing hit, our students came looking forward to cooking their first meal as they heard the rave reviews from the Tuesday class.

Our first teaching moment was learning how to hold and pass properly pass a knife. Our students made the correlation of measuring ingredients to fractions as we made homemade granola.

As the granola was baking in the oven the students learned to set the table. The aroma of the granola heightened their anticipation of the finished product.
