We made three recipes this week! It was a very busy class, but we were organized and gave each child a different task and we successfully cooked, ate and even cleaned up in time!! The students were curious, but uncertain about the vegetarian cheesesteaks. They all commented on how good it smelled as we were sautéing the peppers and onions. Most are BIG fans of cheese, so adding that to the sandwich allowed them to give it a try.

Not many fans of this recipe. (I think we cooked the mushrooms a bit too long, because we were waiting for the sweet potato fries to cook. Our oven required cooking them for 45 minutes!). But all loved the strawberry shortcake!

They really enjoyed the process of baking the biscuits and are looking forward to making them for the final dinner in a couple weeks!
