The students worked separately today while preparing the two dishes.
Team Green Beans were busy chopping beans, dicing shallots, and squeezing lemons with expertise. Having seafood allergies in our group, we had Team Chicken working with precision to slice it up and coat it in the panko mix. Upon tasting, Aubree Stanbach-Perry observed, “The lemon really wakes up the chicken.”
The green beans with clementines were a surprisingly good pairing. Realizing we are already in Week 5, the group began discussing favorite meals so far to share with their families. Stay tuned for the winner!
