Our new chefs were eager to jump into action to make the mini frittatas.

All said they cooked at home and wanted to show off their skills. Once our first disaster was out of the way – a section of diced onion hitting the floor instead of the pan – things went smoothly. When a staff member stopped in to see what we were eating, Hailey Brown explained the frittata as being like an “omelet cupcake.” Orlando Zayas said he was happy to be in the program because he liked reading the recipes, making new foods, and “hanging with friends.” We look forward to a successful eight weeks.
