With an unseasonably warm temperature outside and the heat cranking inside, soup would not have been our first choice for a meal. But the smell of the soup simmering in the pot eventually changed our minds. After a fun round of culinary Pictionary while waiting, the soup was finally ready. Darius Smith said it was fabulous, but maybe he would add some onions. Kyanna Jackson spoke up and, showing her empty bowl declared, “Oh, I’ve been plotting this since I smelled the chicken!” Everyone agreed this is something they would like to make at home.
