We prepared for our double cook recipe by bringing in an extra pan and hot plate. Divide and conquer was on today’s menu, and it worked out well.

Team Turkey got busy in the front of the room finding nice lettuce leaves, preparing the sauce, and cooking up the turkey mixture. Team Edamame did their chopping, measuring, and sautéing in the back of the room. Our goal was not to blow a fuse again like last year, and it worked! Team Turkey seemed to have been a bit heavy-handed with the red pepper flakes. “It’s a bit spicy for my taste,” said Eleazar Cruz, “but I think my dad will like it.” Everyone else enjoyed both the wrap and the salad. Orlando Reyes got creative and added the salad to his wrap, noting the flavors went well together. As of now, we think this may be a good choice for our family meal.
