Turkey Tacos were a great success. The students reviewed mis en place and got right to work dicing, chopping, grating, etc. It was rewarding to see their confidence in executing the skills we’ve been learning this semester.
After some uncertainty regarding the mushrooms, they all decided they were really good. The jelly muffins were a hit even though there was not enough batter to top all of them. We talked about how we all make mistakes in cooking and how we learn from them. Kayla suggested we add more milk since the batter was so thick so we did. It was a busy class but a rewarding and successful one.
