“This may be our best dish yet!” exclaimed Nazarha Jones about the meatloaf. Because our oven doesn’t seem to heat as much as needed, we went for more personal-sized loaves. They were moist, juicy, and flavorful.
The water never boiled quite enough to get the potatoes ready, so they will be finished at home and brought back in to sample. Dessert was also a hit, but mostly the crumble part.
Some students didn’t care for the tartness of the cranberries or that the apples and pears were still a little crunchy. We discussed different fruit options to make the dessert more enjoyable to all. And now, for the family dinner decisions…
