Rave reviews all around at Community Partnership this week. Brave, our pickiest eater, said that he wanted to have the Sloppy Joes for “New Year’s, his birthday, and anniversary.”

All of the students were anxious to get cooking on the stove and took turns stirring the Sloppy Joes.

We focused on safe knife skills this week by teaching them how to cut a small dice on celery and onion. Levi was extremely enthusiastic about cutting the onion and took the role very seriously. There were plenty of leftovers and the kids did a good job of divvying up portions to take home (there were a few squabbles about certain kids getting more, but were resolved easily).
