The new student chefs came in excited and ready to cook.

After washing hands, tying back hair, and donning new aprons, they sat around the table eager to learn the rules and expectations. Once the recipe was up on the Smart Board, it was game time. The students were eager to show or practice their measuring skills making granola and knife skills in preparing the fruit. Finally the parfaits were assembled and ready to taste. Eric Berlinger threw his hands in the air and announced, “I’m literally in heaven, this is so good.”

We were off to a successful start.
