This week’s cooking class was filled with flavor and laughter as our 5th graders whipped up their own yogurt parfaits topped with homemade granola. Each student brought their unique taste preferences to the table, making the experience both fun and educational.

“The fruit parfait and granola exploded with flavor!” said Iann Gonzalez. Gabriela Ortiz Castro added, “The fruit parfait was appetizing. I particularly enjoyed the homemade granola.”

For Joe “Niyah” Terry, the process of making the parfaits stood out most: “The process of making the fruit parfait was fun. I prefer the fruit parfait without the granola. I enjoyed joking around with the teachers and cooking with my friends.”
