Semaj has become more comfortable around the stove, and stirred the sauce this week. Tah’nija, Savannah, and Amina expertly assembled the ingredients, then garnished the completed spaghetti and meat sauce with Parmesan and parsley. The ritual of writing in the cooking journals has also been taken to heart, and the students reflected on joy of cooking and the tasty meal that they just made.
