We discussed how adding ingredients over time builds flavor in food and how meals like this could be made pretty much from the pantry at home. After adding our parsley to the soup, Orlando Zayas suggested we microplane the parmesan cheese over each bowl like we were at a fancy restaurant. The warm corn muffins were a welcome side to the soup. Everyone went home with some to share with their family, although it seemed the extra corn muffins may not have made it out the door!
