Our two recipes this week were all about blending flavors and textures: salty and sweet; crispy and soft. The student chefs wrote:
“The curry chicken was savory and sweet.”
“I liked the chicken because it had flavor and spice. The olives tasted salty.”
“The curry chicken was amazing, the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I never ate these kind of vegetables before but they were good too.”
“The chicken was juicy, tender and sweet.”
“The chicken helped give the vegetables more flavor; the cauliflower was delicious.”
“The rhubarb crisp was sweet, sour and yummy.”
“The strawberry rhubarb bar was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.”
“The strawberries were the best part of the rhubarb bar.”
