PEAR AND HONEY GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese or 8 slices (or your favorite cheese)
  • 4 thin pear slices
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 small handfuls fresh spinach

 

Directions

  1. Place the bread slices on a flat work surface. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter evenly over one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Warm a skillet over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Layer each sandwich as follows: Slice of bread, butter side down, 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese (or 2 slices), 2 pear slices, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 small handful spinach, 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese (or 2 slices) and slice of bread, butter side up.
  3. Place sandwiches onto the hot skillet. Cook on each side for about 3 to 4 minutes, or until the bottom layer of cheese begins to melt around the edges. Cut in half and serve!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sándwich de Queso, Miel y Pera

Ingredientes

  • 4 rebanadas de pan
  • 4 cucharadas mantequilla a temperatura ambiente
  • 2 tazas de queso rallado, u 8 rebanadas de queso
  • 4 rebanadas delgadas de pera
  • 2 cucharadas miel
  • 2 manojos de espinaca

 

Instrucciones

  1. Untar una cucharada de mantequilla en cada rebanada.
  2. Calentar un satén. Para armar el sándwich, coloque una rebanada de pan –lado de mantequilla tocando el satén- ½ taza queso –o dos rebanada- 2 rebanadas de pera, 1 cucharada de miel, un manojo de espinacas, ½ taza queso y una rebanada de pan- lado de mantequilla hacia arriba. Repetir con los demás ingredientes.
  3. Ponga los sándwiches en el satén y cocer 3-4 min cada lado. Partir por la mitad y disfrutar.
