Health Tech Celebrates 20 Years of Investing in Local Students

The Health Tech program reached a milestone on June 6, celebrating the 20th graduation at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital. Forty students were enrolled in this year’s school-to-career program in corporation with the Olney Charter High School. Farm to Families Continues to Connect Food and Medicine

Every week, our Farm to Families program works with community-based organizations to address issues of availability and affordability of healthy foods in North Philly. Since 2010, Farm to Families has been providing access to fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as meats, cheese, eggs and other a la carte items. Golf Tournament Attracts Famous Athletes, Donates Van

The Barkann Family Foundation hosted the 2013 Michael Barkann and Friends Golf Classic again this summer to benefit St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children. Among the guests were former Philadelphia Eagles player Brian Dawkins and former Flyer Bob Kelly, as well as former Philadelphia Phillies players Milt Thompson, Larry Bowa and Ben Davis.
